International Random Acts of Kindness day is celebrated on the 17th of February each year. It is a day when people are encouraged to spread kindness and positivity through small acts.

As a believer of Jesus, we should show the world God's kindness every day with a small Act of Random Kindness.

Acts of Random Kindness come from the heart, and are unexpected in this fast paced, often self-centred society we live in.

God's wants us to show His love for people, and there are so many ways we can do this. Be thoughtful. Demonstrate the love and kindness of God by doing an act of humble service for someone... no strings attached.

Have these 3 thoughts in your mind as you show God's love to someone today:
Every Act of Random Kindness you do is like planting a little seed of God's love.
Living the word of God is a great way of engaging with people to tell them about Jesus.
People are more likely to listen to someone who has treated them as a friend.

To get you started, here are some Acts of Random Kindness you can show today.

Compliment 3 people you talk to today.
Openly put your phone away when in the company of others to show they have your full attention.
Send a positive text/WhatsApp message to 5 different people.
Try to include everyone in the conversation if you're talking in a group.

Remember, if you hear that discouraging voice in your head, remind yourself of an Act of Random Kindness God has led you to do today... you've had a positive effect on someone's life.
