Here at Elim Family Church Coatbridge, we run an initiative called Coats4kids

After seeing child poverty hit an all-time high in 2019, with over 4 million children in the UK living in severe poverty, we wanted to do something to impact our schools in our community. 

We recognise that in these difficult times, when parents are often struggling to feed their children, buying a winter coat is sometimes almost impossible. We simply want to provide a warm coat for those who really need one.

We do this by asking our congregation to buy coats or give a donation towards a new coat for children aged from 5 - 12 years (P1 – P7).
